APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design investigations and test power to drive system quality across all Mac products. Collect and analyze power and battery life data on all Mac hardware platforms. Provide technical oversight to the QA team. Understand and drive appropriate performance metrics for each system. Drive automation improvements from setup to execution to reporting. Identify gaps in test coverage and define new tests or replace existing ones. Present findings to cross-functional teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive power and battery life issues and improvements. Define test plans and reports for desktop and laptop testing from the standpoint of battery life measurement. Responsible for post-mortem analysis to understand and drive field issues. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300 - $199,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
