Superior Rigging & Erecting Co. is currently seeking an individual to join our team as the Tool Room Manager The Tool Room Manager manages the Tool Room and all company equipment. This person is responsible for maintaining adequate tools, adhereing to all safety standards and ensuring tools and equipment are delivered to each job accuratley.
What Superior Rigging & Erecting Co. is Asking You to Do:
- Ensure all safety procedures and rules are followed and upheld to company and OSHA standards
- Maintain a clean and organized Tool Room and associated areas
- Unlock and lock the Tool Room daily to begin operations
- Receive and review purchase requests
- Work with the purchasing manager to obtain and provide proper tools and materials for jobs in a timely manner
- Maintain and utilize the tool tracking program (excel spread sheet)
- Receive and confirm all tool list for all jobs
- Assist in loading and coordination of tools in the warehouse
- Manage all tool rentals
- Inspect tools for damage and get quotes for repair when necessary
- Inspect rigging, equipment and tools before sending it out to jobs
- Inspect all rigging, equipment and tools once returned from a job and assess for any damages
- Maintain calibration and certifications of all optical tools, skid-mores, and other equipment
- Track and submit all time for Tool Room
- Track and maintain propane tank level
- Attend operations meetings weekly
- Train and manage the Tool Room assistant
- Maintain knowledge of industry developments and perform searches for new advancements
- Perform random jobsite tool audits when directed by operations
- Keep the Tool Room secure at all times
- Ensure no tools leave without being assigned in log to personnel and jobsite
Requirements
- Previous expereince working in logistics, warehousing or a a Tool Room is preffered.
- Knowledge of tools and rigging equipment is preffered.
- 40-hour work week with overtime as required
- Forklift certification

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
