Job Description
Summary: Hiring a Tool Room/ Die Maker proficient in operating and maintaining machines, conducting quality inspections, and managing production demands.
Requirements:
Must pass drug test and background check
Technical Trade School or Toolmaker Apprenticeship program experience preferred
Working knowledge of progressive tools
Familiarity with Bruderer presses used to manufacture tight tolerance parts
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products
Ability to understand and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Able to read and understand blueprints
Responsibilities:
Control operations of equipment
Determine the appropriate tools or equipment needed to do a job
Conduct tests and inspections of parts to evaluate quality or performance
Organize work in order to meet production demands
Prioritize work in order of importance
Adjust own actions in relation to others' actions in or between departments
Manage one's own time effectively
Communicate information effectively through writing or speaking
Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
Use mathematics to solve problems
Apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems
Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and filling out paperwork.
Preferred Skills: Basic computer skills including E-mail, Microsoft Word & Excel.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
