An exciting opportunity exists for a Tool Crib Maintenance worker to join our Atchison, Kansas team. The Tool Crib Maintenancerole is to support the Cleaning department’s safety, production, and quality goals.
SHIFT: 1st and 2nd
PAY: $24.97 - $27.13
Purpose Statement:
Understand general repair and maintenance of air and electric tools. Stock and maintain safety PPE for the cleaning area. Stock and maintain a reasonable amount of repair parts to repair equipment as its brought in. Ability to keep parts and work area clean and organized. Maintain and service cleaning room hand tools that are brought in by employees. Answer phone and go out on “call” when a piece of cleaning equipment needs repaired in a work station
Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Maintaining Cleaning room equipment (mostly handheld)
  • Servicing and ordering parts to keep equipment running
  • Keep work area clean
  • Alert supervisor of any safety or quality issues
  • Alert supervisor of any maintenance issues
  • Recommend process improvements when noticed
  • Participate in special activities, projects, and programs to support Bradken safety, quality and productivity goals
  • Other duties assigned or requested by supervision

Key Selection Criteria
  • Knowledge of electrical motors and air motors
  • Work in and contribute to a safe working environment
  • Must be able to read, interpret work instructions.
  • Ability to work with hands and have good eye hand coordination
  • Capable of working with limited supervision
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
