Tool Crib Attendant

We have an immediate opening for a Tool Crib Attendant in the Mayodan, NC area to assist with stocking MRO products and running product between two locations at our customer facility. Our ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing, well organized, with the ability to function in an ever-changing and fast paced environment. Attention to detail, solid math skills and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. are also required.

The hourly requirement will be 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. *Hours May Be Negotiable*

A proven track record of solid attendance and punctuality will be essential as well as DAILY reliable transportation.

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Site Manager at each location, this position will assist the Tool Crib staff with a variety of manual and administrative tasks.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Physical restocking point of use vending machines

o Pulling items for ticket to restock point of use vending machines

o Creating tickets for point of use vending machines

o Receiving and low volume shipping

o Aid in facilitating test tools and returns between customer and Butler Bros.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o Administrative tasks such as copying and scanning

o Order expedites

o Order entry

o Stock checks for inventory control

EDUCATION:

· High school Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

· Previous experience in one of the following areas: warehouse, purchasing, customer service

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Attention to detail

· Problem solving skills

· Mechanical ability

· Flexibility in dealing with a demanding customer and their expectations

· Ability to excel in high pressure and fast paced environments

· Knowledge of MS programs including email (OUTLOOK) and EXCEL

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Follow-through is very important and must be treated with a sense of urgency

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Occasional sitting, phone, and computer use

· Extensive walking, carrying, and lifting of boxes and tooling

· Heavy lifting would be required (up to/around 50 lbs. or more)

· Reliable transportation for daily commute between facilities is needed. Please note that mileage is reimbursed quarterly.
