As a Spanish as a Second Language Teacher for our 18-month-old classroom, you will inspire your students to learn while immersing them into the Spanish language and culture. Our Teachers are native speakers of the language they’ll teach; have teaching experience in a daycare center; and preferably hold a CDA or a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field from a credited university.
Our Teachers educate, nurture, and supervise toddlers. They oversee educational second language activities and implement Crossing Borders Language Immersion weekly lesson plans, record daily observations, and maintain ongoing communication with parents (in English) about their child's development. In addition, they will be willing to sit down on the floor and actively play with the children, serve lunches, and teach and assist them in hygiene and personal habits.
Teachers provide a safe and controlled learning environment for young children in accordance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations and policies. If you seek to share your enthusiasm for your native language, then we want you on our team.
