Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Skills:
- Childcare experience, preferably in a daycare
- Strong classroom management skills
- First aid and CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to effectively manage behavior in a classroom setting
- Passion for educating young children
- Previous babysitting or childcare experience is beneficial
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum and teaching methods is a plus
- Must have transportation
