Summary Description
Processes motorcycle deals.
Verifies costs, including the costs of all back-end products.
Prepares legal transfer documents for the DMV.
Enter motorcycles into inventory including invoice cost.
Assist other accounting personnel with their duties.
Key Results Areas:
- Finalize bike deals.
- Prepare tax and title documents.
- Post vehicle sales and purchases.
- Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Department Operations
- Receive, process and finalize all deal paperwork from the sales department as necessary.
- Submit finance paperwork to finance companies for payment as necessary.
- Register all back-end sales products with appropriate companies bi-weekly.
- Prepare trade-in vehicle jackets as necessary.
- Prepare DMV transmittal for payment b-weekly.
- Prepare and send all appropriate paperwork for out of state deals to servicing company as necessary.
- Occasionally visit DMV for titling issues.
- Input inventory information including invoice cost as needed.
- Process and verify finance company payoffs before submission to Accounting Dept. for payment as necessary.
- Process back-end products refunds including incoming checks as necessary.
- Perform floor checks with Harley-Davidson as needed.
- Compare serial numbers of incoming motorcycles against invoice as needed.
- Customer Service
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all employees.
- Establish harmony and teamwork among departments.
- Greet internal and external customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must possess a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and show enthusiasm for the products we sell.
- Automotive accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with computerized inventory systems or the ability to quickly learn.
- Ability to manage time and demands professionally as well as personally.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and a neat, well organized work area.
- Demonstrate the ability to type 50 words per minute and use a 10 key calculator by touch.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and other information accurately.
Working Conditions:
- Work at a desk in an office setting for most of the shift.
- Spend several hours a day analyzing dealership records
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
