Job Description
We are searching for a full-time, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, Tire Technician who has the desire to excel in the automotive repair industry and will perform above and beyond the requirements set forth in this job description. Other training opportunities, for more extensive automotive repairs, will be made available to technicians after they’ve mastered the basics of their initial training and job functions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Properly secure vehicle to lift to ensure safe operation
- Properly dismount and remount tires and wheels securely on vehicle
- Properly dismount and remount tires onto wheels without damaging either
- Properly perform oil changes on customer vehicles
- Operate all related equipment and tools as trained
- Operate independently and as a team member
- Perform and demonstrate Customer Service Satisfaction
- Operate safely and perform as listed below
Non-Essential Job Functions: * Assist in performing Inventory Control Accurately
- Customer Relations
- Housekeeping, maintained daily.
Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift a minimum of forty-five (45) pounds
- Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry
Other Duties/Responsibilities: * Other duties can and will arise and you should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Prior knowledge of automotive service related equipment and tools a plus
- Valid Driver's License
Education Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of forty-five (45) pounds
- Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42.5 per week
