ManTech supports the intelligence community providing, operating and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations. ManTech is looking for a Tier 3 Network Engineer to support 24X7 Network Operations Center in providing Tier 3 Network service and superior troubleshooting expertise.
Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years experience with providing Tier 3 support to the Network Operations Center (experience can be a combination of degree and work history).
- Experience with supporting an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), customer networks, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system.
- Experience with monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- Experience with advanced networking qualifications including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, LAMBDA. LAN/MAN/WAN/Optical specialization.
- Experience with common ticket systems (Remedy, ServiceNow) and common network management tools (HPOV, HPNA, Solarwinds, MNS, Netcool, etc).
- Ability to maintain network hardware and software.
- Ability to proactively identify risks in the network and develop a plan to mitigate them.
- Ability to support numerous business requirements for telecommunications (e.g., LAN, MAN, WAN, Voice and Video).
- Knowledge of hands on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems.
- Knowledge of the OSI model and configuration of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, LDP.
- TS/SCI with polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
- Network certifications: Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIE, ITIL Foundations, and/or CISSP.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
