Job description

**This is an in-office role with some flexibility to work from home. We are only looking for candidates who can travel to Washington, DC on a daily basis.**
Salsivo LLC is currently seeking an individual to join our team to provide first-line support for our clients. Our clients expect the person on the phone to be someone who knows more than them, and someone who can help them.

THE POSITION
The Tier 2 Helpdesk Technician is an escalation point and will be working alongside Tier 1 Technicians as first line of defense for customer requests.
The ideal candidate will have a background in network management. We are looking for someone who knows how to troubleshoot technical problems and where to find reliable resources to get a resolution on an issue. You must also be comfortable writing documentation for processes and systems on your own. You are also expected to quickly resolve issues and communicate clearly with both the client and the team members.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with Tier 1 techs to deal with customer requests
  • Escalation point
  • Manage Microsoft Active Directory or Azure AD
  • Manage Google Workspace

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in any computer related field or higher

Certifications
  • O365 administration certification
  • Google Workspace certification

Work Experience
  • 3 years of IT experience required; 5 years desired
  • 2 years in MSP environment required; 5 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
  • Administering Office365, Google Workspace, and Active Directory
  • Knowledge how to join workstation to local Active Directory and to Azure AD
  • Familiarity with login scripts and how to create/modify them
  • Create users/assign memberships
  • Documentation
  • Must have a reliable vehicle

Additional knowledge, skills, and responsibilities:
  • Experience with Kaseya VSA highly preferred
  • Experience with Autotask helpdesk desired

  • Salary expectations: $50,000-$70,000 per year
