Job Summary: We are looking for a General Cleaners to join our team.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation;
- Background check required;
- Excellent work history;
- Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus;
- Physically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detail;
- Education: High school degree preferred, but not required;
- Team focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction;
- Ability to pass a background check;
- The ability to work alone or within a team is a must;
- Strong work ethic;
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must be willing to sweep, mop, dust, pull trash which can weigh 40 or more pounds, fill all dispensers, soap, lotion, paper towel and toilet paper;
- Must have an understanding of job duties, machines, and equipment necessary to complete tasks;
- Uses personal protective equipment correctly such as safety glasses and vinyl gloves;
- Produces quality work within pre-set time frames;
- Shows initiative in regard to job functions and accepts new responsibilities as needed;
- Has a willingness to work with and help others;
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms, breakrooms, and other areas;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Polish windows and other surfaces as assigned;
- Maintain safety procedures by handling cleaning equipment and supplies according to company protocols;
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and other duties as outlined in the scope of work;
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment;
- Other cleaning duties as needed;
- Cleaning and restocking restrooms;
- Cleaning break areas, conference rooms, bathrooms, offices (wiping down tables, counters and appliances, etc)
Physical Demands:The General Cleaner position is a physically demanding position. The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, lifting heavy objects.
Management has the exclusive tight to alter the scope of work within the framework of the job description at any time without prior notice.
