Maintenance TechnicianPosition Summary:Guggisberg Cheese, Inc is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their team in the Sugarcreek, OH area. This position will be part of the Maintenance team whose primary responsibility will be Mechanical and Electrical maintenance and repairs for our cheese production facility. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing duties assigned to them, including electrical work and mechanical work, that is needed to maintain the proper functioning of our production line and upkeep to our facility. Candidate is expected to uphold and represent Guggisberg s vision, values and standards of quality.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Electrician CertificationPLC TroubleshootingCNC TroubleshootingMetal Fabrication/Welding experiencePneumaticsExperience with 110, 240 and 480-volt 3 phaseResponsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on production equipmentAble to effectively troubleshoot to find a solutionAble to follow a schedule for repairs set by the Maintenance Supervisor that will allow production to continue to flowAssist other members of the maintenance team with repairs when neededMake wire runs and connections to equipmentInstall and Repair of Electrical and Mechanical EquipmentMechanical and Building maintenanceOther duties as assignedFollowing a preventative maintenance programDocumenting all completed workMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures including chemical safetyMust be highly motivated and able to work independentlyPossess effective verbal and written communication skillsMust be organized and able to prioritize and multi-taskBasic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel and WordThorough knowledge and experience pertaining to electrical work, including 240V and 480VExperience with pumps, pneumatics, welding, fabrication, control panels, electric motorsMust be able to climb and work safely at heights
