Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Summary: The Lead Therapist is responsible for daily staffing needs, inventory levels, assisting with program and staff development, assuming a leadership role in the clinic and performing the duties of a staff clinician. The Lead Therapist performs duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care. The Lead Therapist displays positive support for the values and mission of HealthONE/HCA.
What qualifications you will need:
- State or National Certification per discipline regulations. BLS required.
- BS, MS, MA or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology
- Oncology Rehab experience preferred. Three year in a clinical staff position preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and other health care team members. Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong critical thinking skills. Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Licensed Physical Therapist
- Speech Therapist
- Bachelors Degree
