The Therapy Coordinator / Assistant is Responsible for:
- Assist Director of Therapy with coordinating purchasing for the department
- Plan daily rehabilitative services that are consistent with the goals and policies of the organization.
- Assign tasks and cases to staff.
- Assist staff to ensure proper level of care is delivered.
- Handle administrative functions of LEC community rehabilitation program.
- Works under the direction of evaluating therapist to plan, implement, and administer programs that restore or enhance performance in individuals with functional impairments.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment
- Establish and maintain a high level of quality
- Ensure safety standards are regularly met
- Understand and apply all legal standards within daily operations
- Abide by Code of Conduct and report any violations
- Handle all general administrative duties for departmental campus wide issues
- Assist with daily departmental working schedule
- Demonstrate knowledge for the basic operation of all areas of departments, and when called upon, staff department area when schedule dictates, in accordance with that job description
- Assist in coordination of departmental programs and presentations throughout the campus
- Pursue personal developmental opportunities on ongoing basis to further refine skills, particularly as they relate to technological solutions to departmental issues
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited therapy program
- Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Occupational/Physical Therapy Assistant state license
