Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the RMA Supervisor, the RMA Technician will be responsible for working at the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) on PCB boards across Ampro ADLINK Technology's product lines.
Essential Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following):

• Perform functional test on board or system products.
• Troubleshoot the RMA units or production failed units to component level.
• Repair failed products to pass all required tests.
• Assist quality engineer on failure analysis.
• Moves inventory to appropriate locations using ERP system.
• Communicate with customer to understand the failures.
• Record the troubleshoot and repair information in ERP system and generate repair report.

Job Requirements:

• AA/AS Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training.
• Work-related experience with minimum of 5 years' experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies to the component level.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Understand schematic, drawing, and computer hardware especially Mother Board architect.
• Knowledge of using oscilloscope, DVM, soldering station, microscope and small power tools or hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of using and installing windows OS and Linux.
• Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively on a one-to-one basis.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; regularly use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear; and doing things such as analytical work or reports, which requires focus, while utilizing a computer.
• Must be able to operate general office equipment.
• Physical stamina to stand, reach, bend, lift, grasp, and kneel.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Our base hourly pay range for this position is expected to be between $24 - $29 per hour. Multiple factors are considered in determining base pay including an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
