Volt is immediately hiring multiple entry level Test Operators for a top manufacturing company in Austin, Texas.

As a Test Operator you will:

• Test function of electronic assemblies/sub-assemblies, components, systems, units and parts according to establish procedures
• Tests electronic products, components and systems for electrical continuity and function and reliability on a variety of test platforms and static/dynamic stress chambers.
• Determines if the designated product passes all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information needed to isolate any product failure.
• Enters test yield data into appropriate statistical process control system.
• Notifies the appropriate test/quality engineer if test yields drop below acceptable levels.
• Inspects product for the correct placement and orientation of untested components.
• Inspects product for any physical damage or contamination.
• Places the appropriate test marks on all electronics pass test.
• Runs tester diagnostics at specified intervals.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance at specified intervals on testers, chambers, fixtures, carrier cards, etc.

These positions are temp to hire.

We are hiring for 1st shift: Monday to Friday from 7am - 3:15pm. 2nd shift: Monday to Friday from 3pm - 11:15pm and 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday from 11pm - 7:15am

Requirements:

• 6 - 12 months of related or manufacturing experience
• Must be able to read/write/speak English
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check

Pay Rate: $17/hr for 1st, $18.70/hr for 2nd shift and 3rd shift
