Job Description:
The Test Operations Engineering group within Development Operations performs a wide variety of technical tasks in support of engine special test equipment and test facility readiness for development and production testing. The organization supports experimental, development, certification and field investigation testing Auxiliary Power Units, F100, F119, F135, PW1100G, PW1500G, PW1700G, PW1900G as well as advanced concept demonstrator and experimental prototype engines and rigs. The candidate will have the opportunity to join a talented and diverse multi-disciplinary organization while working with highly skilled hourly and salaried employees, as well as partners and customers. Successful candidates will have a good balance between mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with engineering, customer groups and external vendors to establish requirements.
- Manage mechanical and electrical installations, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of test stand infrastructure and special test equipment and support operation of facility and special test equipment during engine testing.
- This position involves a high degree of interaction with both test engineering and other operations groups requiring effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong emphasis is placed on dedication, innovation, resourcefulness and attention to detail.
- This organization supports testing and field operations across multiple company and customer sites throughout the US and the world.
- Overtime and travel opportunities will be available worldwide requiring a passport.

Basic Qualifications:
- Requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a total of 8 years relevant experience in lieu of academic/training requirement.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current US Government security clearance.
- Knowledge of or experience in jet engine testing, operation, assembly and/or maintenance.
- Experience in instrumentation, data acquisition systems, industrial hydraulics, mechanics, facility control systems, large equipment maintenance.
- OSHA contractor coordinator training.
- Strong background in MS Office.
- Turbine test stand experience (Hush house).
