JOB SUMMARY:

Looking for someone to monitor and coordinate the mechanical testing and calibration activities of an ISO 17025:2017 certified testing and calibration laboratory. The ideal candidate will be familiar with quality management systems and national and international standards. The ideal candidate will also have strong communications, attention to detail, math, problem-solving, and computer skills. Starting pay range is based on experience, skills, and aptitude for this process. A full-time, on-site position is available with a flexible schedule of 32-40 hours per week. Looking to hire immediately.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Willing to be trained.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Position requires reliably commuting or relocating to Minden, NV.
• Ability to work and problem solve independently.
• Ability to communicate with clients and team members.
• Ability to work well across several computer applications (Word, Excel, Acrobat, Outlook)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow basic safety practices
• Ability to follow detailed directions
• Ability to provide I-9 documents.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in project management or project coordination
• Knowledge of how national or international standards are implemented in a workplace
• Experience with quality management systems
• Advanced Microsoft Word formatting skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel formula-writing/proofing skills
• Experience with communicating with clients
• Experience with negotiating clear work orders with clients
• Knowledge of best practices in test and calibration labs
• Ability to source tools and calibration services that meet traceability requirements
• At least three years of experience in a similar laboratory environment
• At least two years of experience in a position that helped write, implement, or revise procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
