Sr. Test Engineer

Salary: $125K to $150K annually
Summary
The Sr. Test Engineer will apply technical expertise to solve complex technical problems with ingenuity and creativity. Responsible for test fixture designs, test routines, and supporting legacy production test systems. This role reports to the Test Engineering Manager. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
- Determine processes for testing components, sub-assemblies, (LRUs) or multiple systems in order to assure that applicable minimum performance standards are met.
- Interface and coordination with production/manufacturing personnel.
- Obtain and provide information/status to technical and non-technical co workers within the organization.
- Support new test system and test application development as a subject matter expert.
- Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of Test Engineering experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of Test Engineering experience
- Able to lead subcontractors, outside engineering services, and/or global engineering resources
- Ability to read and follow schematics
- Proficient at report writing and Microsoft Office suite
- With RF radio communication and analog audio test experience
Programming experience in some or all of the following:
- National Instruments LabView development
- National Instruments Test Stand development
- Microsoft C++ or C# development
- Microsoft Visual Basic development
Preferred Experience:
- Project management skills and experience leading projects
- Bluetooth communication protocol
- Wi-Fi testing to ensure high-speed internet access
- Cell phone testing LTE, 4G, 5G
- Electronics manufacturing experience especially with respect to test equipment, including both hardware and software development
- Test equipment qualification and validation experience
- EMI, vibration, temperature, and qualification testing experience (examples: DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MILS-STD-461)
- Altium for schematic capture
- SQL server development
