APU, Shaft and Component Test is a group of engineers and technicians within Engines & Power Systems' Test Services (TS) organization. We plan and execute engine testing from IPDS Phase 2 through Phase 6 for all APU and many propulsion products. We are currently supporting new centerline designs as well as several derivative products, cost reduction projects and SRD programs. Additionally, we partner with internal and external stakeholders in the design, commissioning, and correlation of APU and propulsion engine test facilities.
The successful candidate will lead test coordination, program test estimates, facility design and capital projects for one or more product lines and as such will be accountable for the preparation, coordination and execution of E&PS engine test execution - quality data being the key deliverable to our customers. Additionally, the candidate will lead facility and test equipment design and maintenance for a wide variety of engine test programs/projects. Lab Engineers within Test Services work with a wide variety of stakeholders in all aspects of test facility design and maintenance, test equipment design, configuration and upkeep, test planning and test execution. An Engineer in this role will leverage their advanced knowledge of engineering processes, discipline and tools to estimate, plan and execute tasks and projects related to the development and certification of Honeywell engines.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the design, procurement, fabrication and maintenance of test equipment and facilities in support of development, demonstration, certification, and qualification tests for our gas turbine product line
Lead workflow management via the Work Request System (WRS) - includes coordination with all test services functions, other Honeywell partners and outside suppliers.
Drive upgrade and maintenance of test facilities and equipment to maximize facility and equipment uptime while optimizing return on investment
Coordinate with sister groups and ISC regarding the improvement and utilization of shared resources (people, equipment and facilities).

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Must be US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident, due to ITAR and Export Control restrictions.
