The Test Architect is a key role on the Video Software Integrated Design and Delivery. The right individual for this position will have a passion delivering strong test strategy. As a Test Architect, you will be responsible for helping in the requirement analysis, architectural understanding and come up with test strategy for Spectrum products through key partnerships with members of the product, platform architecture, software delivery, and operations team. You will take high level design and lead your team in ensuring the test strategy is ready for the Development and Test teams to consume.
Job Responsibilities
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture team, Business Analyst and Development teams to gather requirements on the feature
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business and user requirements
• Translate business requirements into high-level use cases
• Write Test Strategy documents in order to incorporate high level use cases (regression/functional), draw sequence diagrams
• ct as a Liaison between Dev, Test & Ops team during deployment process and ensure pre-production testing is done with required acceptance criteria met
• Reviews all software design documentations for completeness and identification of any possible design gaps.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Required Qualifications
• 5 + years working with software teams as QA, business/Functional analyst, test engineer, or served in related roles
• Experience in Agile implementation
• Hands on experience in understanding the business requirements and breaking them into component level impact
• Strong written communication skills
• Strong documentations skills
• bility to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio)
• Proven track record to work independently
Desired Skills
• Experience utilizing Atlassian software (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise software
• Knowledge and/or experience working with micro-service architectures.
• Knowledge of Relational and NOSQL databases
