Job Summary
Territory Manager is responsible for fostering the relationship between Gold Flora Distribution and its Retail Partners within a geographic territory. Territory Managers are responsible for prospecting and closing new business via cold-calling, in-store presentations, and participation in industry trade shows and networking events, understanding the company's product offerings as well as competitive products, will nurture client relationships, update, and present new opportunities to ensure a positive client experience.

Pay: $65,000 w/ Sales Commission

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue by meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals.
  • Identify, consult, and implement opportunities that will move the business forward.
  • Maintain client records in CRM system.
  • Negotiate with prospective customers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly calendar.
  • Give sales presentations.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Monitor A/R schedule.
  • Answer customer questions about product lines, prices, availability, and terms.
  • Feature / Benefit selling.
  • Work closely to with operations and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Track volume, numbers, and margins by reviewing sales reports.
  • Develop strong relationships with key accounts to maintain high level of service and client loyalty.
  • Maintaining compliance of cannabis regulations.

Qualifications

  • Prior Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Have strong knowledge of products.
  • Have strategic prospecting skills.
  • Ability to build great rapport.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Adaptive personality with an ability to learn.
  • Resilient when facing challenge.
  • Strong desire to take initiative.

Work Environment

  • This position may work in an indoor manufacturing facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and working in proximity with staff and vendors.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and may work in proximity with customers and staff.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations.
  • Frequent travel required.
  • Requires travel to different dispensaries and locations throughout the assigned area, particularly during peak times.

Job Requirements

  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities, not hours; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations.
  • Ability to use a computer and calculator for 8 hours or more.
  • Required to have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving history. Must have own transportation.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Selected candidates will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or city Police Department.
