Finishing Technologies, a leading finishing equipment distributor, is hiring a Territory Manager (Outside Sales) to cover routes in the state of Oregon.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and close new accounts through disciplined prospecting and relationship building.
- Effectively work your territory and expand sales within key accounts.
- Perform consultative-based sales meetings with decision-makers (owners or safety/environmental, production, and procurement managers).
- Continuously develop your knowledge of our wide product offerings.
- Consistently perform and track sales activities that generate results.
- Qualify, control, and close sales.
Experience:
- Industrial sales experience, preferably in the coatings, metal fabricators, wood finishing, or paint finishing industries. 2–5 years around the business preferred.
- Experience selling in aerospace, transportation, wood finishing, military, or marine industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Excels in developing strong customer relationships and revenue growth.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn our technical finishing equipment capabilities.
- Willing and able to travel throughout territory. (Must have vehicle to travel in; mileage reimbursed.)
- Consultative mindset with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Analytical problem-solver, results-oriented, ambitious, goal-oriented, and accountable.
- Competitive, confident, and assertive with a strong work ethic.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
