Role Definition
- Supports a team typically comprised of selling financial products, technical support, application experts, and product support field personnel to achieve goals to drive increased customer loyalty throughout the designated industry.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a consultant to our customers by delivering sophisticated financing solutions and selling creative structures to meet customer needs.
- Deliver business plan sales and market share targets for the company products in a given industry segment or market.
- Develop sales and marketing plan and manage merchandising plans to achieve business plan targets for company products and services.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through management of product and commercial issues within the industry segment.
- Leading the selling opportunities identification, customer satisfaction improvement and business relationship enhancement.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling financial products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
- Advanced knowledge of loan and lease products and provide consultant services, which requires a working knowledge of financial statements, cash flow and bonding.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze the financial status of customers and applying thorough knowledge of finance/leasing products, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to implement company values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Understand the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Provide strong a decision-making process and utilise associated tools and techniques to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Understand and implement strong negotiation concepts and techniques to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Provide strong relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Degree Requirement
- A 4-year college or university degree in any discipline, a minimum of 2 years exempt experience in a sales position and 3 years exempt experience in credit, customer services, collections, marketing, sales and/or financial statement analysis is recommended.
