DIRECT HIRE POSITION
Salary: $60,000/year, plus commission
The role of a Territory Manager is to establish, maintain, and increase the Company's Retail Division, market share and profitability in a geographic area. This role is accomplished by the cultivation and development of solid relationships with existing and potential customers. These relationships are based on integrity, trust, product knowledge, industry knowledge, and service.
Responsibilities:
- Initiates daily sales calls and emails to existing and potential future customers.
- Travels to customers’ and potential customers’ facilities.
- Performs sales presentations at customers facilities regarding products, samples, displays and the Company's corporate vision.
- Possesses a deep understanding of vinyl flooring, wood flooring and laminate flooring.
- Prepares weekly reports of business history and transactions.
- Analyses the territory - sales information, product needs, competitor products and price points, and overall competitive market conditions.
- Analyzes sales data from corporate computer reports specific to the territory.
- Controls travel and entertainment expenditures within their territory.
- Sells and assembles display racks.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous sales experience
- Ability to use a laptop computer/tablet and the basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows software, specifically MS Office.
- Ability to travel in a vehicle that can carry product material and product sample boards.
- Must reside within the territory
- Traveling will be required
- Relationship Building and Excellent communication skills
