Our Pest Specialists are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers of Pest-Pro at all times, professional behavior is expected at all times while servicing a home or a business and respect and care of customers’ property is required. As a commission employee, you have the potential to increase your earnings daily based on your productivity. As a commission employee, you control your earnings potential.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Verifies property address/location before treatment has begun.

· Must maintain all requirements by TDA licensing authority.

· Spray chemical or solutions in liquid or powders, and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests.

· Applies chemicals and uses other forms of extermination techniques on low surfaces inside and around homes or buildings.

· Ability to prioritize work load, work under pressure and handle irate customers and still maintain good composure.

· Using extreme caution crawls in confined spaces including attics.

· Identifies the source of the pest and targets it to achieve maximum results.

· Makes suggestions for prevention control.

· Identifies and reports any damages to customer’s property.

· Uses personal protective equipment as is required or for prevention purposes.

· Meets deadlines of route and informs staff of resets and skipped services or not completed work.

· Attend required department meetings and company or vendor training as required.

· Must have a flexible schedule (i.e. early morning stops and evening stops)

· Must be able to manage your time, schedule your own month and complete all your work in a given month.

· Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

Experience and Skills required:

· Previous Termite & Pest Control experience preferred but not a requirement.

· Excellent communication & customer service skills.

· Desired experience working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines of your service route.

· Dependable and self-motivated with desire to work year-round.

· High school diploma or GED is desired.

· Ability to use and navigate electronic tablet/phone, etc.

Physical Demands with or without accommodations are not limited to:

· Ability to drive a vehicle with standard or automatic gear and enter and exit a truck or car.

· Ability to walk for long periods of time in extreme temperatures including outdoors.

· Crawl under homes on your knees.

· Repetitive lifting, twisting, pulling, pushing and carry up to 50 lbs. may be required.

· Ability to carry a 40 lb. backpack throughout the day.

· Wears respirator according to OSHA requirements.

· Pull and drag a 300’ hose.

Driver’s Responsibilities:

· Using a company vehicle drives to destinations listed on the daily route.

· Responsible for the maintenance of company vehicle such as tire conditions, tire replacement whenever needed, checks for condition of brakes, gets oil change done in a timely basis, etc.

· Follows safety protocols while driving, respects driving regulations and codes and reports all work related injuries immediately to Service Manager or Division Manager.

· Complies with vehicle policy agreement.

· Maintain good driving record.

· Reports any auto accidents to Service Manager within 1 hour of accident.

· Must maintain an active Driver’s license and submit copy of renewed license to HR.

Salary: $26,000.00 to $39,000.00 /year

Pay: $35,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
