As the Terminal Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our terminal in Florence, Kentucky
Responsibilities
· You will oversee a team of drivers, coordinate with dispatchers, and administrative staff, while ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods
· Your role will involve coordinating schedules, optimizing routes, managing driver performance, and fostering a positive work environment
· Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands, resolve issues, and drive operational excellence
· Lead and supervise a team of drivers, coordinate with dispatchers, and administrative staff
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
· Oversee terminal operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of shipments
· Optimize driver routes and manage driver performance to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
· Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of the terminal's fleet
· Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain strong relationships with key clients
· Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
· Conduct regular training sessions to enhance employee skills and promote a safety-conscious culture
· Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts related to terminal operations
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
