Position Summary
Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) invites applications for multiple, open rank tenured/tenure-track Faculty Positions in the field of cybersecurity in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering; the Kelley School of Business; and the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs These 10-month appointments would ideally start August 1, 2024, although the start date is negotiable.
Responsibilities: Tenured/Tenure track faculty at Indiana University Bloomington are expected to substantially contribute to the overall academic excellence of their department(s) by developing and/or maintaining a robust research portfolio. Pursuing and obtaining major extramural research funding supporting cutting-edge research both as a corresponding principal investigator and a collaborating investigator is especially valued as are teaching and mentoring a diverse population of students at the undergraduate and/or graduate level and actively providing service within the department, school and university alongside active engagement with the profession and beyond. These positions are located on the campus of Indiana University, Bloomington. This is an opportunity for a leader interested in shaping the future of cybersecurity in key areas of strength at Indiana University.
Basic Qualifications
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in business, computer science, cybersecurity, data science, engineering, information science, information systems, information policy, law, policy analysis, public administration, public policy, risk analysis, or social science, with a dissertation or current research agenda focused on cybersecurity. Candidates must have teaching experience at the undergraduate, graduate, or professional level and an established record of publications and scholarly work in Cybersecurity. The ability to work cooperatively and congenially within a diverse faculty is required. Candidates must demonstrate an outstanding scholarly record of teaching and research, exhibited by high-impact peer-reviewed publications and a forward-looking, externally funded research agenda as Principal Investigator (PI). Current funding and experience leading sizeable research initiatives, or strong potential to secure external funding is preferred.
