Tennis Shop Administrator

The Greenwich Country Club is now hiring for a Tennis Shop Assistant. Experience is helpful but not required.

Opening in 1862, The Greenwich Country Club is a private 650-member family country club, located on 180 acres in Greenwich, CT. Club activities include an 18-hole golf course, 8 tennis courts (4 indoor), 4 paddle tennis courts, 3 squash courts, gym, new outdoor pool and camp facility, skeet and trap shooting and 6 bowling lanes.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bill members accordingly for activities on court/purchases of shop merchandise using Jonas Software
• Perform daily phone calls/emails with members to assist with any queries they may have
• Order lunch daily for tennis staff members
• Assist tennis maintenance staff in ensuring courts are tidy and presentable throughout the day
• Clean and straighten up tennis pro shop and kitchen communal spaces
• Work alongside the tennis director to provide support to tasks as needed
• Maintain master schedule for the GCC tennis program · Communicate with tennis personnel to ensure accuracy of attendance records and tennis schedule
• Provide onsite assistance with any tennis events being held at the GCC
• Manage racquet stringing cycle by billing members accordingly for the work needed and communicating with tennis personnel to ensure work is performed in a timely manner. Lastly, reaching out to members to inform them that their racquet is ready to be picked up
• Cover the desk when the Tennis Shop Coordinator has the day off

Hours: Saturday & Sunday 9am-5pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
