Tennis Court Maintenance

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Court Maintenance staff for tennis, and pickleball. This a morning part time position, ideally 7 days a week (12-18 hours). In this role, responsibilities will include the following: ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of our clay Tennis Courts (4), hard surface pickleball courts (4), and Hard courts (3). Your primary responsibilities will include sweeping, and brushing the lines, replacing clay court materials, maintaining windscreens, managing debris and trash around the courts, and overall general upkeep.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Director of Racquet Sports

Sweep, and brush the lines of the Tennis Courts once in the morning

Help maintain clay courts

Ensure wind screens are in good condition and tied down with zip ties

Manage trash and debris around courts to maintain cleanliness daily before play

Perform general upkeep tasks to ensure the courts are in optimal condition

Responsible for any daily upkeep duties such as repair to the courts, drying tables and benches, replacing ice and water

Make sure towels are out for members

Using the blower to blow leaves off courts and sidewalks

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Remove leaves from clay courts as well

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Tennis Court Maintenance is preferred
• Knowledge of Har-Tru or clay Tennis Courts is highly desirable (not required)
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Physical ability to perform the necessary tasks, including the ability to lift 50lbs occasionally

- Familiarity with groundskeeping and landscape maintenance techniques

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
