Temporary Warehouse Associate
Reports to
Warehouse Manager
Summary/Objective
Responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties involved with receiving, stocking, filling orders, shipping, and warehouse maintenance, in compliance with current Jon Renau warehouse functions policies and procedures.
General Responsibilities & Requirements
- Follow proper safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free work environment
- Pick and packing: Assembling customer orders by pulling from stock and relocating to a designated area, with scanners and picking sheet to maintain the customer experience
- Auditing customer orders against picking sheet and preparing the parcel for shipping.
- Inventory: Assisting in counting of physical inventory on a daily basis using RF Smart scanners, NetSuite to cross check stock and maintain accurate inventory.
- Always organize the warehouse and work area for cleanliness
- Monitor for errors on monthly basis to ensure the accountability
- Able to rotate from shipping and receiving roles when need be
- Performing other warehouse related duties, as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
When applicable:
- Examine and inspect incoming and outgoing items for accuracy, wears and defects and report any issues to supervisor immediately.
- Create required documentation for shipments such as Bills of Lading and packing slips
- Ensure orders are accurate and complete through the verification of appropriate paperwork for shipping, including Bills of Lading, customs forms, and invoices.
- Manage the day-to-day operations responsibilities of the warehouse including, receiving, cataloging, loading, and unloading.
- Ensure efficient space utilization through the organization of the warehouse
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to management on a regular basis.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Shifts are 7:30 – 4:00. Based on business/client needs. Overtime may happen on occasion.

- High School Diploma required.
- 18+ years old
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift 20+ pounds, stoop, squat, reach, grasp, climb a ladder
