The range for this role is $20.67 - $26.44/hour
Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This is a temporary role, projected to last 6 months, but offering full-time hours (40 hours per week). There are NO benefits offered for this role since it is temporary/seasonal.
States we employ in: AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MO, NC, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV. In order for your candidacy to be considered, you must have established residency in one of these states or being willing to relocate. If you live within 50 miles of either the Melbourne, FL or Colorado Springs, CO office, you would be expected to work onsite 3 days per week.

The Job
Our Training and Development team is in the process of developing a brand-new knowledge base that will be the single source of information for all employees. We are looking for someone to join our team to help us create comprehensive knowledge documentation that meets organizational standards. You'll gain a deep understanding of our products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, and engaging content. The information should be written in a user-friendly format that meets the needs of the target audience. You will also have the opportunity to connect with subject matter experts around the company to ensure the knowledge pages are accurate, logical, and intuitive.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write knowledge articles and process documentation
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation
- Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefs
- Perform all other duties as assigned

- HS diploma; two or more years of experience as an effective knowledge writer required
- Experience writing documentation, procedure manuals, knowledge articles required
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communications, or creative writing preferred
- Previous experience in healthcare related field preferred
- Experience in Livepro and SnagIt a plus
