Minimum Experience/Education:
Current enrolled in a 2-4 year Institution
Department Required Skills:
A working knowledge of operating motorized appliances
Basic computer knowledge and use of standard software programs
Able to listen effectively and follow directions
Knowledge of different types of feed and forage
Excellent time management, record keeping, organizational and attention to detail skills
Ability to produce accurate and high-quality materials
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision
Ability to function in a high-volume environment and within time constraints to meet deadlines
Ability to determine moisture of samples
Ability to work in the field under various environmental conditions (rain, wind, sun).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work with matrices such as grass, hay, and nut
Ability to identify specific grasses and weed species
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft excel, word and PowerPoint
