Temporary Production Operator

+ Position Overview

Dimension Inx is disrupting the way we treat patients and restore healthy function, using a proprietary biomaterials platform to develop 3D-printed therapeutic tissues. We are a well-financed, venture backed, early-stage company with big ambitions, ramping up for a period of rapid growth.

The Production Operator will report to the Operations Management and take daily direction from Manufacturing. The Production Operator will contribute to the overarching success of technical and manufacturing related projects by supporting the Manufacturing, Quality and R&D teams with activities in the production environment. The Production Operator role will require a technically focused individual who will contribute to fast-moving manufacturing and quality teams. Work hours are M-F from 9:00-5:00 pm with overtime possible 1-2 days per week. Overtime would generally involve arriving at 8:00 am or working until 6:00 pm.

+ Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing medical devices in a controlled, regulated environment
• Supporting the transfer of new products from development to production
• Performing assigned product manufacturing and quality assurance tasks
• Conducting quality checks on the functionality of parts and components
• Optimizing production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed
• Performing minor repairs and reporting breakdowns in a timely manner
• Keeping equipment maintenance logs, as well as maintaining a safe and tidy work. environment
• Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time
• Complying with internal policies and industry regulations

+ Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; associated degree preferred
• Adaptable work hours based on production requirements.
• Experience in laboratory or regulated manufacturing environment desired
• Knowledge of production processes
• Working knowledge of computers and office software
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Great collaboration skills
• Keen attention to detail
• This position requires engagement in a controlled manufacturing and a laboratory environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials and equipment
• This position may require the ability to lift up to 50lbs
