Temporary Part-time Warehouse Staff

RentACoop LLC is a rapidly growing family operated business which includes both a warehouse in Frederick, MD and a farm in Germantown, MD. The two focuses of our business are education and product creation for poultry and other small animals. The product development division designs, manufactures and distributes products for poultry and small household pets. The RentACoop flock, while small, is packed with a variety of diverse and fun individuals who all share a passion for animals and their care. The flock's teamwork and continuous communication pushes our product development to be a cut above competitors.

We are currently looking for a Temporary Part-Time Assembly Team Member members for our ever expanding company Monday-Friday and possibly some Saturday mornings during our busy season. The role of Assembly Team Member will be based at the warehouse in Frederick, MD.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

• 
  Utilizes different allocated parts, stickers and instructions to assemble kits

• Make sure that appropriate safety measures are taken into account at every step of the production process and advocate safety practices to the rest of the staff.

• Test products from new shipments for damaged or faulty items.

• Ensure proper labeling of finished items and ensure that they are packaged properly.

• Manufacture company products with the highest standards.

• Print labels and pack individual orders.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct supervisor.

• Be prepared to perform additional duties as needed.

Minimal Qualifications :

• Gives attention to detail and follows instructions.

• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

• Effective time management; maximizes productivity

• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.

• Must be at least 16 years old and must be able to obtain a MD DOL Work Permit for Minors

Physical Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 30 lbs, on occasion

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the

warehouse.

Employment may be contingent upon RentACoop LLC’s receipt of anacceptable and job-related drug test, physical exam, motor vehicle report, background check and/or reference check, E-Verify as applicable and permissible by law.

Hours and Schedule:

We have an afternoon part-time positions open to fill the following hours:

Monday-Friday 6am-6PM

Saturday 9AM-1PM (optional)

All employees receive up to 80 hours paid time off annually. Full-time employees qualify for 7 paid

holidays and excellent healthcare benefits that are covered 70% by RentACoop.
