Job Description
Ensign Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company seeks to fill the position of Material Handler/Shop Helper at its Moorpark, California facility.
Responsibilities:
- Work assignment areas may include but are not limited to: Machine Shop or other departments as determined by business demands.
- Move and organize raw material and transport of materials.
- Installation of Helicoils or other secondary machine shop operations as needed.
- Minor deburr of precision machined parts.
- Cleaning and organizing all shop areas (5S).
- Packaging parts for shipping as needed.
- May be asked to monitor CNC machines for limited periods.
- Other duties as assigned by machine shop leadership.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction.
- Must be able to stand for most of shift.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Must be able to meet all ITAR and BATFE background requirements.
