Form of workThe Temporary Trainer for the Harris County Elections Administration trains all Election Workers who help run the Vote Centers during an election period. This role is collaborative and drives to various training sites throughout the county.
Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstration/explanation of election procedures, processes, and voting equipment
Work with a team of instructors to teach classes (online and in-person) of 50 - 200 election judges and clerks
Class Management (in-person and zoom)
Set up and tear down classrooms including packing up all materials to be transported to other locations
Answering phone calls from judges during voting periods
Mastery of election content
General election duties, as needed

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution

Flexibility in fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills
