Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is a contract role with guaranteed hours, and the contract will extend until the End of the School Year (ESOY). The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development needs of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Michigan state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
