POSITION SUMMARY:
The FIND Specialist provides training, consultation, technical support, and video editing to support the implementation of Filming Interactions to Nurture Development (FIND) (more information about the science of FIND in this link). FIND is an evidence-based and strengths-centered coaching program that uses video to encourage caregivers' developmentally supportive interactions with the children in their care. This FIND team supports Early Learning Coaches across the state in becoming certified in FIND and delivering the program to childcare providers in English and Spanish. This position is eligible for remote work.

SALARY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $27.82 - $38.95. The starting salary range for this position is $27.82 - $30.61 DOE for external candidates.

Employees will also receive 10 days of vacation leave each year, one personal day each year, and will accrue one sick day per month (pro-rated for part-time employees). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides training and consultation to FIND Coaches to support coach certification
- Reviews recorded coaching sessions to assess coaches' fidelity to the FIND program
- Provides strengths-based written and verbal feedback to build coaches' skills
- Responds in a timely manner to FIND Coaches' questions and maintains accurate case tracking
- Edits videos to demonstrate FIND elements, exercising discretion to select optimal examples and prepare films to facilitate coaching
- Provides technical assistance to support FIND Coaches' use of iPads to demonstrate films
- Develops and adapts FIND program materials with the FIND team
- Participates in regular FIND team meetings and maintains positive communication with team
- Achieves and maintains FIND Trainer and Editor Certification
- Maintains confidentiality of confidential identifiable information (CII), including films, of children and caregivers in accordance with IRB and agency standards
Additional Duties that may be performed:
- May assist in training new FIND CHSW team members
- May provide FIND coaching in homes and child care centers
- Advocates for the values of a diverse population within CHSW and the Community
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-4 years related experience or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities required
- Experience working with children and families; including families experiencing poverty and/or inequities
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- Successful completion of a drivers check if position requires driving on a regular basis (at least three times per week) or drives consumers. Must not have more than two driving incidents within the last three years
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
PREFERRED:
- BA/BS degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- Familiarity with the use of a video camera, tablet, and video editing software
