Job Summary:
The Temporary Call Center Assistant position will be responsible for making outbound calls to students regarding their Financial Aid status and other enrollment initiatives throughout the year. This position will assist in answering incoming calls directed to the Call Center with high-quality customer service, and will direct any other inquiries to the appropriate department across campus. The Call Center Assistant will be available to assist students and parents in completing the FAFSA in the student computer lab. This position will report to the Call Center Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Making outbound calls to students and assisting in answering incoming calls directed to the Call Center
- Assist students and parents with the Financial Aid process, including, but not limited to assisting with the application process, assisting students with acceptance of federal aid through the Banner software program including the E-Sign process of federal loan promissory notes and required online entrance counseling.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students and families via phone, email, or in person
- Assists with resolving customer issues; responds to inquiries as appropriate
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Call Center Supervisor or Associate Director of Communications
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience
