Position Summary:

This recruitment is for a Temporary Clinical Research Coordinator position through UCI's internal temporary staffing service. Under the direction of the Clinical Research Manager incumbent is responsible for coordinating clinical trials in the UCI Center for Clinical Research (CCR). Incumbent is responsible for all aspects of clinical research from initiation through completion of research projects with human subjects. Incumbent will conduct interviews with study patients in the clinic, screen participants, and collect data in compliance with established study protocols. Incumbent will develop and establish process for review and oversight of clinical trials conducted by investigators and will ensure study protocols are followed, appropriate documentation is kept, and accurate data is collected. The incumbent will be working with the Clinical Research Manager and other Clinical Research Coordinators.

Compensation Range:

Minimum $31.03          Mid-Point $35.90         Maximum $51.13

Required: 

  • BA degree in Biology or related field.
  • 3-5 years clinical research work experience 
  • 2 or 3 clinical trials experience

Temporary Employment:

  • This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department.
  • Interviewing and hiring is based on internal hiring needs and how well the candidate's experience matches the assignment requirements.
  • Certain temporary assignments may require clearance of a health physical or require a valid California Driver’s License for driving university vehicles.
