- Provide excellent customer service instore and online by greeting, asking and answering questions, styling, monitor fitting rooms, problem solving, up-selling, and maintaining knowledge of current sales, promotions and incentives.
- Serve as a MADE by DWC brand ambassador by sharing knowledge of the MADE story, values, and businesses including The Café and MADE branded products, and contributing to department goals.
- Prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to the merchandise selection flow. This includes receiving incoming donations, quality control, and pricing.
- Practice loss prevention through customer service strategies.
- Work alongside staff, participants, and volunteers throughout the organization.
- Complete customer checkout by utilizing the POS to compute sale prices, total purchases, process cash, credit, and gift card transactions, and make exchanges.
- Prepare, lead, and present weekly online sales through merchandising products, writing descriptions, and promoting products.
- Prepare and ship e-commerce, Poshmark, and Instagram orders.
- Maintain a clean and presentable sales floor ensuring surfaces are cleaned and sanitized, floors are swept/mopped, mirrors and windows are clean.
- Perform daily visual merchandising by maintaining display shelves, styling mannequins, and replenishing the sales floor.
- Perform opening and closing tasks including store cleaning, maintaining signage, recording sales, and KPI goals, EOD checklist and assisting in POS procedures.
- Assist job training participants by providing coaching, assistance in training, and supporting daily tasks.

- Must be a CA resident and live at least 80 miles from the office and must be available for in-person meetings at the DWC offices.
- Must provide documentation of a negative TB test result within the last twelve months, on first day of hire.
- You will be required to have received at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination to start employment with DWC, and second dose must be received within 30 days from the first day of hire.
- You will be required to be up to date on your COVID-19 vaccinations. If you are fully vaccinated and not yet eligible to receive a booster dose, then you must receive the booster does within 30 days of becoming eligible. If you are fully vaccinated and have received a booster dose, you are considered up to date with your vaccinations.
