Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing professional to join our team.
As a Purchasing Agent, you will work with the operations team to help manage the procurement process by ensuring timely and cost effective acquisition of materials and supplies. Your role will involve collaborating with suppliers/internal stakeholders, work with contracts and maintain inventory control. You will also maintain records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts and payments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience (3 + years) as a Purchasing Agent/Professional or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management systems and processes
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and materials management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools - SAP or ERP system an advantage
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Knowledge of logistics and e-commerce platforms is a plus

HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE, M-W IN OFFICE - TH/FRIDAY REMOTE.
