We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. As an I/T Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children during their crucial early years. Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of Infant/Toddler -aged children
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement
- Foster a love for learning through interactive lessons, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and playtime
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication regarding their child's development and any concerns or milestones
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that meets health and safety standards
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to promote positive learning
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with childhood development theories, practices, and educational frameworks
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies for young children
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
- EEC certification required
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background checks as required by state regulations
