Temp Production Worker Associate

At The Arc of the Quad Cities Area, we are searching for 1st Shift, 35 hours a week Temporary Production Worker Associates.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Actively support and further the Mission of The Arc of the Quad Cities Area. "To empower people with disabilities to believe in their unique abilities and achieve their full potential by providing quality, innovative services that focus on advocacy, independence, employment, meaningful community life, and personal happiness."
2. Set up and perform work operations as part of a team.
3. Maintain agency property and agency or contract environments safely and cleanly.
4. Under staff supervision, operate machinery and equipment for moving materials for production and delivery processes.
5. Comply with all safety, production, and quality control standards.
6. Comply with work schedules and make recommendations regarding job design and quality control measures.
7. Interact professionally with other personnel at the work site.
8. Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Experience in factory setting preferred.
3. Strength and flexibility to lift parts, equipment, and supplies.
4. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.
5. Ability to perform various tasks at or above time-studied norms after substantial training and an appropriate work trial period.
