Duration: 5 Months with possible extension
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Duties:
Song deliveries. Send confirmed writer splits with corresponding release information to be properly registered in the UMPG system, societies, etc.
Maintain writer MDRC sheets; adding newly delivered songs, helping to keep the sheet "live" with new & pending releases.
Track the following: disputes, provisional claims, long time pending works, new releases, new signings
Billboard: weekly report stating what we control of new releases, weekly publishing edits
Skills:
Past publishing internships or jobs
Basic publishing knowledge; writer splits, PROs, etc.
Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
Extremely detail-oriented
Excellent organizational skills
Strong ability to keep track of a high volume of data/information
Ability to prioritize
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter
