We are seeking physicians interested in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, urgent care, counseling, and other specialties. QuickMD offers a fantastic culture, work-life balance, and an enthusiastic team, passionate about collaborating with patients in order to assist them in reaching their goals. We are looking for physicians licensed in 1 or more of the 50 States within the U.S. Our focus is telehealth services, but there are in-person hybrid opportunities as well.
QuickMD sets a high bar for payment, reimbursing physicians above industry standards (16-25% more than the largest telemedicine companies) at $35 per visit. We pride ourselves on pay equity and pay transparency; as such, we pay the exact same rate (of $35/consult) to all of our physicians.

QuickMD launched in 2019 and is a rapidly growing national telehealth company dedicated to providing internal medicine, addiction treatment, urgent care, counseling and other services that are affordable and accessible to all. One area that makes QuickMD unique is a strong focus on helping solve the opioid epidemic in the U.S. We are one of the largest telehealth organizations in the U.S. that focuses on providing medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD).
Job Description
A qualified candidate must possess compassion, empathy, and the ability to handle the demands of the position. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background with experience directly treating patients in a telehealth or in-person setting. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct visits with patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues in any of our applicable services, that could include patient assessments and medical history, follow-ups, diagnosis, and any other applicable medical service to render accurate and excellent patient treatment
- Ask intuitive questions to cultivate an appropriate doctor-patient relationship throughout the continuation of the patient’s care journey
- Order and interpret lab tests, when indicated, in order to obtain data when needed to manage a patient. or abnormalities
- Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive instructions for administration (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances with the exception of buprenorphine (e.g. Suboxone))
- Collaborate with other physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses to form a high performing medical team
- Create and maintain medical documentation to support the patient’s comprehensive treatment plan and medical history.
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients
- Remain up-to-date with developments and best practices in medicine by attending conferences and seminars
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a physician
- Broad knowledge of common medications, side effects, and contraindications
- In-depth knowledge of medical best practices

- Responsible and trustworthy
- Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctorate of Osteopathic degree (DO) with a valid license to practice in the applicable specialty and State
- DEA and/or applicable CSLs (preferred but not required)
As part of the onboarding process, all physicians are required to complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training. Malpractice insurance provided (3m/1m). 1099 provided at the end of the year.
