ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking a Fiber Network Security Owners Rep/Project Manager. This position will lead all Fiber, Network and Security related projects at the site where they will be assigned. This will include but not be limited to expansions, modifications, retrofits and “new” technology projects. Develop project scope of work and specifications.
- On site in Mesa, AZ
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work with the general contractor to build and establish the Master Project Schedule.
- Develop the Master Project Budget and Contract negotiation.
- Resolve if AE is completing the complete list of City and/or other approvals process, permitting, etc.
- Provide / Capture cost estimates working with subs and other vendors for scope gaps/changes.
- Perform field walks on a regular basis to supervise progress in the field.
- Manage Cost / Change Control, including change order review, negotiation, and recommendations, delay analysis.
- Document control (track and coordinate addenda, bulletins, new drawing sets, clarifications).
- Ensure QA/QC is being followed and report any issues/gaps.
- Initiate close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance.
- Establish close out documentation requirements. Collect and supervise receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builds, O&M manuals, etc.
