SalaryKey Role:
Perform duties of the Telecommunications Specialist for a Department of Defense (DoD) client. Provide maintenance, engineering, programming, and troubleshooting support to the client Private Branch Exchanges (PBX). Provide engineering, programming, and troubleshooting support covering critical areas for multiple client sites. Provide official telecommunications service support to Flag Officer or Executive quarters at various locations. Responsible for maintenance of the Expert Agent Selection (EAS) system and the programming, maintenance, and management of the EAS system administration Local Area Network (LAN). Provide maintenance of the EAS, to include system patches required by the client and Joint Interoperability Test Center (JITC), to meet mandated baselines.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with traditional telecommunications systems
- Experience in the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility
- Experience working at a DoD Command-level Headquarters
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience engineering, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting PBX and expansion port networks
- Experience programming and troubleshooting Secure Terminal Equipment (STE), and secure and non-secure cellular telephones
- Experience with Avaya Communications Manager 6.3 or higher, EPN, ISDN, DSN, E&M, STE devices, and the VeraSMART Call Accounting System
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to ad-hoc requests
- Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
